KickASS or LameASS ?
the FIRST KINGSMAN in 2014 was an amazing experience for me. The jaw dropping action scenes, the hilarious yet nefarious plot, the sort of spoof of the spy genre while being still quite edgy and yet somehow a LOT of fun. Does this sequel, the first SEQUEL directed by Matthew Vaughn manage to re-capture that glory?
Well… ALMOST.
The opening is snappy and then somehow the movie loses it way with a very mundane and boring middle portion and then come back with a decent finale. The direction as always is good, but somehow mr Vaughn is showing series fatigue and not able to keep up the pace of the first film. The film gets downright boring in parts. Not much of action, the drama... |
