Special 26 is a near perfect heist film and probably one of the best in Bollywood. A strong lead performance by Akshay Kumar who is well supported by Jimmy Shergill, Manoj Bajpai and Anupam Kher. Though the film is inspired from a real-life heist, but the climax seemed a bit forced & predictable. Still the script is quite good to keep the viewers at the edge of their seats right till the end. Not to forget the amazing cinematography by Bobby Singh which impressed me a lot ! Even brilliant is the story and direction by Neeraj Pandey who seems to be in a mood for some serious filmmaking...This surely is a comeback performance by Akshay Kumar !

Frankly Speaking , we all must be thankful finally a good "Akshay Kumar" movie. the man is know for his Khiladi series and he wasn't the quite the khiladi in these years..
Special 26 is a con Movie . Mr. Khiladi and his gang help rich corrupt politicians and businessmen get rid of their excess black wealth by conning them(Nice Way of Saying right ?? Thank you :) ). But even though they con their prey, their own morality seems to be in place as revealed by each of their family stories.
CBI officer Manoy Bajpeyee has played an awesome role ..
Though the suspense may feel a bit forced, on second thoughts it fits great, and what we get is a decently paced con flick. It may not be the best one ever made, but it is definitely a revelation as far as Bollywood is concerned. Kudos to director Neeraj Pandey of A Wednesday.. Frankly Speaking i watched it only when i came to know that Director is same as of "A Wednesday".. not becase Akshay is in it.. !!

Special Chhabis- 8.6/10

Despite the fact that it is one of the most intelligently scripted and directed movie of all times,special chhabis will not be in my TOP 5.I think enough has been said about how the movie was great and how everyone acted brilliantly and every single soul on the cast and crew deserves that too so i'll talk about what spoiled my taste

I hate it that what could have been another A Wednesday (9.6/10) remained as Special chhabis (8.8/10).Still its a great movie and even if u spend 300 bucks u won't regret a single penny

A very stylish and clever take on the Fake CBI case, which almost created a stir. The plot is inspired by true events, and it never diverts from the main plot. Apart from the unnecessary romance, it remains on the track. All thanks to a clever writing and a gripping screenplay.

Performances are really good. I would say the whole cast did a fabulous job. Special mentions of Akshay Kumar and Manoj Bajpayee. Anupam Kher gave a bit of tickles, which wouldn't feel forced at all.

Music was good and fast paced, quite apt to the screenplay. The songs were okay, but I really loved the song 'Kaun Mera'.

Direction was really good. Neeraj Pandey again gave a masterpiece.

Overall, this crime thriller is a must watch, and will surely provide you the best entertainment.

The movie is well directed and the performances by the cast including Akshay Kumar, Anupam Kher, Jimmy Shergill, Divya Dutta and Manoj Bajpai is top-notch. The movie is also throughoutly funny and clever.
