First Look #MainAurCharles based on the life of Charles Sobhraj. Charles character is shown larger than life and resembles 70s movie of Amitabh Bachchan (Deewar, Don, Mr Natwarlal). Very power role and Randeep seems to have gotten into the skin of character. Richa's character is his moll (remember Parvin Babi) and seems to be smitten by Charles. I liked the confidence, attitude and look of Randeep. Success and debacle of this movie lies on Randeep's shoulders. Other "Diggajs" in the film are Adil Hussain (English Vinglish) and Tisca Chopra. Unfortunately, Writer Director Prawaal Raman is from RGV camp and hasn't delivered a single hit till date.

A Stylish and Hard movie for Indian Audience
A film based on the Bikini Killer, Charles Shobhraj. Directed by Prawaal Raman. Randeep Hooda plays the role of Charles. Film is very fast and super stylish in the first half. Almost everyone, even I also can't be able to find out what's going on. Because the pace is too high for the Indian audience like me. So, probably you may not be able to identify the smartness of Charles. The planning of escapism from Tihar Jail looks normal, even dumb in first half, but in climax, where the film shows the actual fact of the story, you will get mad for the planning of Charles. Definitely a stylish watch. But, only few can catch up what the director is trying to show. Randeep acted superbly. I don't... |
