Yeh...What a movie. Loved it. Stupid as hell but I loved it. Watch it in IMAX was such a treat! Visually its so stunning and engaging. The fights are so bombastic and exiting. The music is loud, and thrilling and it gives the audience what they were looking for. But. Those pros are also the films cons. First, we start the movie with one of the monsters. Which makes no sense to me, you don't get any anticipation or excitement to see the monsters. Then after that we get a bunch of historical mambo jumbo that is never talked about again acting as the background for the opening credits. Second is probably the main problem with monster movies. The human characters. We get introduced to characters... |
