The movie - Midnight's Children (2013) by Deepa Mehta is based on the novel of Salman Rushdie (by the same name) which uncovers postcolonial experience of a few characters. What intrigued me as a viewer was the narrative style which was a conglomeration of chronological political sequences, magic realism, vivid characters and tumultuous course of life.
